I am looking for a content writer for this blog

Hi! I’m Lukáš Mikula from the Czech Republic, and I’m looking for a motivated content writer to partner with me on History of Computers blog. I created the blog as a way to test generative AI capabilities and deepen my knowledge of WordPress and SEO. Currently, it attracts over 1.2k organic visits per month, and I believe there’s real growth potential.

As a freelance marketing consultant, I focus on copywriting and strategic marketing in my main job. Unfortunately, I no longer have time to produce content for the blog myself. Instead of letting the project stall, I’m offering a unique partnership to someone who is passionate about technology and the history of computers. What’s in it for You?

• Profit Sharing: I offer a 50% share in any future profits, which could come from affiliate marketing, guest posting, or similar avenues. The main source of the traffic will be organic/AI search. So far, visits are low for affiliate marketing to generate income and I earned 15 bucks for one guest post. The site needs more traffic, which will be earned in time with great content. I cannot promise you any money, but the better job you do, the probability of future profits go up.
• Your input: I will always listen to your advice about possible changes on web itself, income stream possibilities etc.
• Full Creative Freedom: Write in your voice! You’ll have the freedom to choose topics, angles, and style with no content editing from my end. I can help you with research about the best topics for SEO, but any categories/content is always your domain. I can offer advice, but I will never restrict you (unless you get way out of context for the blog content or usual boundaries like extremism, politics, rasism etc).
• Audience and Reach: With over 1.2k visits a month and an Instagram following of over 700, your articles will have an established audience. You will get access to Instagram account and you can use it to your advantage.
• Technical Support and Tools: I’ll handle all technical aspects, from WordPress maintenance to graphics. I’ll also cover hosting, plugins, and technical fees.
• Guidance and Collaboration: I’m happy to offer support in SEO, AI tools knowledge, and marketing strategies, so you can focus on writing and growing your reputation. We can have weekly video meetings to exchange ideas and support.

What I’m Looking for in a Partner

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys exploring the history of computers and technology. I am looking for a self-sufficient person, with the ability to make decisions. If you’re comfortable using AI to enhance your writing (with a bit of human input and fact-checking), this might be a great fit! You’ll publish under your own name, so the quality of your work will shape your reputation.

Content Expectations

• Frequency: Publishing frequency is up to you; however, I expect at least 1 article per week and no more than 2 articles per day.
• Creative Use of AI: Feel free to use AI in your process, but I expect some level of human oversight to ensure accuracy and authenticity. To be fair, all articles I published on the blog were AI-written with no human editing! I am not a native English speaker, so AI enabled me to generate content at scale and explore its possibilities. I believe that you can create a great article with 80% AI and 20% human input. Since the subject is history, AI can assist significantly, but fact-checking and simple editing, which I did not do, are essential for the blog’s growth.

• Independent Tooling: While I’ll cover the technical backend, any writing tools or licences for your work are your responsibility.
